SSL Certificates

Make your website connection secure and build trust with your visitors.

Why SSL Certificate Is Needed?

Buyers and online service users are getting more and more cautious when they browse, do their shopping online or just use the online services.

🔒 Build Trust & Confidence

When it comes to submitting private details online, most people are looking for the padlock icon on the bottom of their browser. Even more, they look for the 'https://' prefix in their browser's address bar before sharing any personal information.

If your website doesn't support encrypted connection and doesn't have a valid SSL Certificate, your visitors may leave without making any purchases or signups. They simply won't feel assured to submit their credit cards or other personal details over websites that seem to be not well secured.

SSL Technology Explained

Understanding how SSL protects your website and your visitors' data.

⚙️ How SSL Works

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) issued by a trusted authority such as RapidSSL or GeoTrust is installed on your domain's hostname i.e. secure.domain.com.

When a client browses over https://secure.domain.com, the connection between the browser and the server is encrypted with a 128 or 256-bit key. Any data sent between the client's browser and the server is encrypted before sending and decrypted after being received on the server.

This way information transmitted over the Internet is encrypted and signed as secured by this trusted authority. The browser checks the validity of the SSL Certificate with the issuance authority when sending data over https://.
